Mini haul #2

Went to take back some stuff today & while I was out, money was burning a hole in my pocket!
First stop was Ulta to take back my brow kit. I've lost my tweezerman tweezers & my eye brows are dying for a pluck, & I didn't feel like spending $20 on another pair of tweezermans, so I got the closest thing to it I could find. Looks like it too! Cept' its Ulta brand.

I like these ones! They even come with some clear brow mascara ( is that what its called??lol) I tested them out first to see if they even compare, and surprisingly they do! I really, really like them. Sorry Tweezermans.

Next thing, I had to go to MAC & get some new foundation. Since I've gotten tanner, my NC19 was too light. I had to go a step up to NC20. I love, love, LOVE this foundation. Only problem is that its really thick & tends to break me out if I forget to wash it off good. This time I got a pump with it. Last time I didn't and I hated dumping it, because I'd use a lot of product & it would just be wasted. So this way, my product will last longer! Only paid $6 for the pump.

If you break out, go for the tinted moisturizer & the mineralized powder. I recommend this Studio fix though highly. Some folks say that Revlon photo ready is better, heck naw. You can tell a difference. The consistency.

Then I went over to AE again and got this adorable shirt. Everyone has to have a low cut, white shirt in their wardrobe. Always in style. Always

On my way out of the mall, I stopped by Victoria Secret to get some panties. They have the 5 for $25 deal, and today you'd get a free doggie if you purchased over $2o!! HURRAY!! I love those doggies. This will be my third one! I had to get the pink one, they had gold leopard and all sorta other ones. But I had to have the pink one. Also, the undies were adorable. Love them. Very sexy. Now gals, I know you think guys like thongs and stuff, but actually they like the low rise, booty out, boy shorts. True story. Ask any guy.

OH UPDATE! I just got this cute necklace in the mail!!!! OMG!!

Mini haul! & Review

To get out of this terrible heat I went to Ulta and then across the street to the mall to American Eagle for some pants. I ended up getting just a few things but ended spending over $100.
Here are some of the things that I got:
Rimmel moisture renew lipstick in Summer Angel & Pink Chic

This one is Summer Angel. I like the color a lot & I love how it feels on my lips. Its very moistureing. It feels like you are putting lotion on your lips. Its a very shimmery nude & its not as dark as the bottom of the tube looks. So don't let those colors fool you, swatch them!!!

This one is Pink Chic. It's very, very pink! Like old lady that let's the dogs kiss her in the mouth pink. But I love it, and it can look good with the proper makeup. You apply one layer and its really light, but it can get really pigmented the more you layer. It too is very smooth & lotion-ie. I don't like it as much as the Summer Angel.
The problems I had most out of these is I can't stand the smell or the taste AT ALL. It almost makes me sick & it reminds me of the Avon lotions if yall have ever tried those. I have to mask the smell with lip gloss, even though they DO NOT need lip gloss. I paid $5.99 for one tube & got the other half off & I didn't really like any of the other colors. My Ulta was sort of limited & I didn't see any of the usual colors people review.

Next thing I got was the Anastasia Express brow kit. I did a review on it already

Paid $35 for this

Last thing I got was the Artist jeans from American Eagle. I originaly went to get some light colored jeans that were torn, but the only torn jeans they had anymore were dark wash. Which upset me. I never thought that light, torn jeans would be out of style. I'll have to go to Abercrombie to get what I want, but I really, really like these. They are low rise, and fit amazing. They make my butt look good haha. I paid $49.99 which ended up being $54.00 tax and all. Not bad. I didn't take a very good picture of the pants, I just wanted everyone to see the tears.

Anastasia Brow Express kit

I purchased the Anastasia Brow Express kit yesterday hoping that it would be marvelous. Well, it might be for some. But for me, it sucks! I was hoping I could use the stencils to make my brows thinner and more arched. Well guess what? Those stencils are exactly like my eyebrows already! So to have this kit is useless for folks who have thick, already arched eyebrows. I was very disappointed. I used my mom as a guinea pig since she has very sparse eyebrows, and I was able to color hers in using the stencil & it looked great. Seriously just don't buy it if you already have eyebrows. This is only for folks without. If you don't have any, go buy! If you are just looking for the brush & maybe the wax or the powder, they sell all of that separately so that you don't have to spend $35-$69 I actually really love the brush. It would also make a great eyeliner brush.

O hai!!!!

A month or so ago I deleted my beauty blog. Lately though I've been dieing to blog. It's been tearing me up inside!!!! Pretty soon, I'll be uploading videos to Youtube, I'm just waiting for this hectic week to be over with so I can get that done & i'll post things on hurrr for everyone to enjoy.
